Cool Basjoo emerging.

Great news from Virginia Beach! Last week, I uncovered Basjoo, and they are beginning to emerge already! These are tied in the break from dormancy with Musella lasiocarpa! Today was a great 70ºF day...although it is already in the 40s for the night.

As more plants start to grow again, I will add more pictures somewhere on the site. Enjoy!

Hey Taylor looking good some nice size pups One quick question , Did you choose to cut your basjoo down that far ? I mean like the mother plant ?

One day, I went outside and the mother stem had bent in half. I cut it off below that point, and it has regrown about a foot below that point (fine by me), which is where it is at right now. No intentional cutting except removing leaves.
