Basjoo springtime
What are my corm/pseudostems supposed to look like once uncovered/unmulched in the spring? The pseudostems were a bit soggy but the corm seemed to be quite firm. WILL THEY COME BACK!!! lol

Hi Michigana...
This question is best posted in the COLD HARDY forums. There are plenty of members in that forum posting their uncovered basjoos. Take a look at some pictures posted in this thread: Uncovered basjoos in zone 6 . Rotted is good... ironically. If it doesn't grow back from the center of the corm, it'll shoot new ones through the sides. |
