I want some of these Dwarf B's.

Development of transgenic plants resistant to plant pathogens in Hawaii - UNIV OF HAWAII

We have produced transgenic Dwarf Brazilian banana that are resistant to BBTV, the most serious viral disease of banana.

We have produced 20 independently-transformed lines of Dwarf Brazilian that have not developed bunchy top symptoms after exposure to BBTV under conditions in which all control plants and most other lines of transgenic banana have developed typical symptoms of bunchy top disease.


Genetically Engineered Banana with Resistance to Banana Bunchy Top Virus | University of Hawaii Office of Technology Transfer and Economic Development

These transgenic banana plants are resistant to infection by BBTV and do not develop symptoms of banana bunchy top disease after exposure to BBTV.
