That's the beauty of living in the United States. We can choose where and how we want to live. Santa Barbara is over priced. Hawaii is the next stop for me. Good luck with your 20-50 acre farm.

Speaking of cars earlier I helping someone with their email and came across a message that the tesla roadster they ordered was about ready. Thats a really nice car there

I'd prefer that to the Lamborghinis someone else I knew had.

They are both really nice cars. Besides growing bananas my daughters and I show cars. The Z06 is supercharged with 620 HP and 585 foot pounds of torque. It was just featured in a magazine and made the cover.

The Mercedes is a V12 Twin turbo CL600 AMG. It only has 550 HP and 595 torque. I have a problem with speed!

I say we hook up a chain to the back bumper of your Z06 to my D6 dozer and we see who can drag who around! LOL I think I've got better traction than you!

Okay, I'd like maybe just to go for a quick spin (with no spins!) with you instead.

550 HP is a lot don't get me wrong. The car does put you back in the seat. Because it is a twin turbo V12 it doesn't have any turbo lag. The Z06 is a beast at 620HP. At 70 it will spin the tires. So, compared to just 550, 70 extra horse power is huge.

What bumper? It's plastic! You can drive it anytime! It will suck the life out of you. It will do 100 in second and has a six speed. I drive it with the five point harness. It is a blast!!

What, you think plastic gives me an unfair advantage?? I thought about suggesting your frame but wasn't sure if it would have that either!

I'll readily admit my family has a reputation of over-estimated our driving abilities so you'll need to re-think the driving offer! My older brother went flying at just 90 even though he swears he took that turn faster many times previously, my younger brother went headfirst into a pickup's windshield when driving his bike (not his fault, but he has others where he was to blame), and my sister landed on an old lady's porch the day she got her license. I had a 200 mile helicopter ride after not seeing a very fast car headed my way when I decided to flip a U-turn in the desert. Dad waited until he was 80 to get into his first wreck but mom had wiped out dad's Merc before I was born. Nuff said!!!

Andrew, I love the tropical ambiance of your garden, and that is an extraordinary example of German engineering you have there. Still, I can't help imagining the lush botanical gardens I'd create after selling the AMG. . . sorry!

No problem Chris. Thank you for the compliment! I work hard in creating a tropical paradise. Yesterday I planted 2 different types of Alocasia, 1 Ensete Maureli, 6 Calla Lilies, 2 Pineapple plants, 6 Tuberose plants, 2 Hawaiian Spider Lilies, and 2 Mysore bananas. I am mostly finished with that side of the house now. My hot tub is down that side. I will post pictures soon.
