Black/brown stripes on Praying Hands
Just curious as to what others thought about this recent occurence on my Praying Hands group. Some of the pseudostems had brown or black stripes on them, the leaves were not as developed and the one stem that did bud produced striped, undersized bananas that never developed properly. This only occurred on one side of the patch and I have other stems that are healthy and normal and have produced several good bunches. The original plant was a small tc I bought from ebay.
I ended up digging out all the "diseased" as there were several but I took some pictures prior to that to get some opinions on what caused this and if I should take any extra precautions going forward. Edit *Having troubles with pic upload - will try later |
