Default Black Sigatoka?

hi all, maybe some one can tell me if im in danger of getting my other bananas sick or can i control the fungus some how, or do you think i may not get it or is it for sure, just a matter of time when it happens,i just got the manzano plant and have herd from this site that it is not resestant to the fungus, what info does anyone know about it, can you share it with me please, i did google it but not much on what types are affected by the fungus. or what can be done about it. thanks in advance for all the help.

Jeff,
I think we probably need more details. Do you have a plant that is currently looking sick or are you just worried your plants may contract this disease? If you have an ailing banana pictures would be helpful.

thanks for replying Brent, no none of my nanas look sick, just concerned if one can get the fungus easy, then could it be transfered to the others. or am i being parinoid?

I'm sure that there are others on this site who are much more knowledgable than I about some of the banana diseases, such as Sigatoka. I have been fortunate not to have any issues with diseases as of yet. Hopefully someone else will be able to advise you.
