Cold Borderlon banana in zone 6A..in ground over winter?

I’d like to know could a borderlon banana survive being in ground outside in Ohio’s (zone 6a) winter? I just read somewhere that they could survive zone 6b. I was just being curious! Thanks in advance for any help!
