Buying Commercial Pups
Where would be a place I can order a mass quantity of Williams, Manzano, and ect.?
Also my brother is making a scuba trip to Puerto Rico, and he would like to visit some banana growers/plantation if possible. PM me if he could do that. Thanks. |

Re: Buying Commercial Pups
Depends what you mean by "mass quantity". Tissue cultured plants come 72 to a tray, although you can order 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, or 3/4 of a tray for an additional fee. Shipping is free if you order a pallet's worth of trays -- about 60 trays depending on the vendor. The latter is what I think of "mass quantity". A few trays is a small quantity.
A well-known supplier of banana TC's is AgriStarts. Here is their current availability: http://www.agristarts.com/avail.htm You'll need a resale license to buy from them. That can be obtained at no cost from your county government, although you might also have to declare yourself as a sole-proprietor business in the county.
