Dead Corm
How can you tell if a corm is dead? I cut some pups off of a stemless corm a couple of months back but haven't seen any sign of life in it since. Is there a way to test to see if a corm is still able to produce?

Re: Dead Corm
John you should go to the webebananas/ encanto farms site: Go to banana basics, it's a great read with lots of pictures. Bottom line is :don't give up until there is just a hole in the ground. I had a couple of large apple corms from ebay that I really believed were a dead pile of mush , next thing you know theres a new leaf emerging.....you just never know.
