Default Deformed leaf on Ensete Maurelii?

the new leaf pushing up seems to be fine at the top part but towards the middle their is white and it is "weak", almost torn up. will upload pic soon. any answers to why this would happen?

Hmmm...sounds kinda like what my EM was doing up till recently. First it was sending leaves with weird missing portions, then they had spots that were brown and/or translucent/thin. Last few leaves have been fine though.

Not really sure what causes it....but I hope yours comes out of it soon.

It's not happy, either it's been too wet or too dry, or too hot. Mine in the pool greenhouse started doing that when it was really hot here. I started putting it in a pan of water and found it needed a lot more water.
