Default Re: Does Ensete ventricosum Maurelii produce seeds

This is because Maurelii is just a color variant of Ensete ventricosum. Ensete ventricosum is naturally very variable in color, some selections with lots of red in them have been tissue cultured and called Ensete ventrisocum ʻMaureliiʻ. The seed of Ensete ventricosum may produce some red plants by chance, but it is unlikley.
