dominican banana update
these show how the bunches have filled out in the 6 weeks since the last pics - nearly ready to cut. This is a new one to fruit - any suggestions as to what it will be?? This has yet to fruit but is called a "rulo" locally - stubby and wide and tasting of apples - some grow 40ft+ but this is a short one. |

Re: dominican banana update
Joe - all the discussion on growing bananas from seed has got me thinking that maybe I should try that too, both for fruit and as ornamentals. Being from the UK, the only source of seed that I have used is Jungle Seeds. Has anybody tried seeds from seedman.com - I'm hoping to find some for warm climates. Cassie
