Hi guys,

I have this draft banana where it's newly opened leaves has purple spots and slowly fade away to green as the leaves mature.

Could anyone ID this banana for me?I'll try to snap pics when i'm free.

Hm, if you post a picture of that naner, we might be able to help you. Please include pseudostem detail, mature plant photo (if you've got one), leaf midrib photo... As many pics as you can of that plant...

Sounds much like what many of the Cavendish cultivars do.

Like brent said, and as the plant gets bigger the leaves will most likely be all green.
