Question Dried Leaves

Hi All,

My 2 foot banana plant has dried leaves towards the bottom of the stalk that eventually dry up completely and fall off. The top leaves look fine and the plant makes new leaves at the top. Is it normal for the leaves to get so dry?

I water once a week being careful not to overdo it. This is an indoor plant (at least till the weather really warms up).

Thanks for any advice.

Default Re: Dried Leaves

This is normal, as the plant grows, it makes new leaves and sheds the old ones. If you want to post a photo, we can double check and make sure it's not losing them at an abnormally high rate.
