Dwarf Cav flowering from the side????
I got two loads of mulch yesterday and as I was mulching I noticed that my dwarf Cav is flowering out of the side of the plant. Why?
Before the mulch I had to lay weed barrier and drip irrigation. After the mulch. The flower Another dwarf Cav flowering in the front yard. This one is going to have a hard time fruiting as it is pointing straight up.

Re: Dwarf Cav flowering from the side????
Weather. It stopped growing which basically sealed the PS. Then the warm weather started pushing new growth but it was easier to bust through the side then the top. Same thing as choking.

Re: Dwarf Cav flowering from the side????
That makes sense. The weather has sucked. Last year we had June gloom most of the year. Thanks Mitchel!

Re: Dwarf Cav flowering from the side????
That is pretty cool looking, I have been having the same problem this winter. My flowers seem to chock but not bust out the side. I hope you get some fruit from it still.
