Default Dwarf Cavendish's Choking

Hello all,

After a few leaves of Dwarf Cavendish sprouted this spring, it suddenly
stopped movement and the situation didn't change at all. So I dared to break
the top of the pseudostem and then found the choking was about to begin
as the follwong picture shows:

You can see the flag leaf! Is it a Dwarf or Super Dwarf?

Dwarf types, and Cavendish types in particular seen to have the final leaves just before flowering all bunched up.

Hi Michel,

This is a normal Dwarf Cavendish.
You can see from the pic that the petiole on the right is damaged and
half broken.

Stan is here again.

Yes, it is the flag leaf. But what I mean is that the flag leaf was prevented
from sprouting by the petiole(seen on the right) by some reason or other.
I do suspect it was caused by the irregular weather from March to May,
sometime very cool 10C/50F, and the other days very hot 30C/86F.
