Ele Ele color question
Have any of you grown Ele Ele? I have a small one and the leaves are really cool looking on the underside. They have kind of a brown, grey, marooninish color. I have read that they will be almost black on the undersides. Is this true?

Re: Ele Ele color question
Mitchel, I had an Ele Ele once a few years ago that died when it was about half grown. The underside of the leaves did not have any unusual colors or characteristics. The pseudostem had a lot of black coloration on it, but I've never heard of them looking black on the underside of the leaves.

Re: Ele Ele color question
Mine also has some black on the pseudo-stem. I should try to capture the the color of the bottom of the leaves in a picture. My Pisang Klotek has similar coloring but with more rainbow colors. It also has some black on the p-stem.
