ensete with pups?
I saw some Ensete ventricosum 'maurelii' at a nursery. Many of them had one large plant with a smaller 'pup' right next to it.
I thought Ensete did not pup? saturn |

Re: ensete with pups?
I was under the same impression. That would be cool if they did pup.

Re: ensete with pups?
Some Ensetes do pup when damaged, and especially Maurelii from tissue-culture is said do do so. Others do so very rarely.
I have a Maurelii that seemingly didn't survive last winter, but came back with only pups, and lots of them this summer,... I hope I can get them through the winter! |

Re: ensete with pups?
Could it have been marked wrong? For instance, a lasciocarpa?
