Default FHIA 18 harvest!!!!

I was waiting patiently for the 18's to finally ripen. When walking towards the Fhia 18 plant I was amazed to see 3 ripe bananas in the middle of the heavy bunch. This variety was the one I had been waiting for.As I picked and chewed the ripest of the 3,I was thrilled in what I was tasting. This variety in my opinion, was 3rd next to a perfect Manzano and or "Nanaman's" Dwarf Namwa.A very sweet tasting fruit, followed by a rush of apple-manzano taste, then it leaves with a mild soft flavor.I was really impressed, this one's a keeper!

The Bunch-FHIA 18

The heavy bunch and I,and YES!,the nanners are better looking than me!

Good size bunch

Congrats! Awesome!
I vote for the bananas. They look so huge and so sexy. If I can grow half as much as that fruit I'd be happy.

Hey Buzzwinder, I grew up there in Berwyn. Moving to CA was the best thing I think I ever did (beside the bananas). I'll never move back! As the saying goes...

If you don't like the weather...wait 10 minutes and it'll change...
