so she finally bloomed, i notice a little choking but it finally corrected herself.










the fence is 6ft, the ladder is 7ft, i haven't measured but i'm thinking its a 12-14ft?



and now i'm having 2nd thoughts after reading all the information on this forum and looking at the before and after pics









any idea if it is a orinoco/burro or something in the desert group
those fingers look long.

kinda short for orinoco - pstem diameter also seems smallish
is fruit angular?

Well looks like it got a man down

Grandma called it a "Macho" banana , I confused it with burro.

False horn plantain (thanks PR for the lesson)



Looks as it rotted at the mid pstem.. It's very soft no green.

It's been raining a lot these days.. But I fear it's a fungus/ virus.




Fruit looks umblished




Btw this was/is a water sucker, not a sword with corm. Perhaps this is why it's not as strong.

Any ideas? Should yank those suckers and transplant
Or call it quits and move on to the real deal and not the "false" lol

I rather drop in a dwarf Puerto Rican plantain from going bananas unless you can sell me a pup
