Can anyone confirm if a banana seed floats its not viable. As I have just started to soak a few types and a lot of them are floating (mainly ensete perrirei )
Is it worth keeping them or is it best to throw them away ?

Re: Floating Seeds
They are not necessarly bad because they float. Sometimes it's air-bubbles trapped in the eye of the seed. Usually these sink within 24 hours. But if they also smell bad, toss them because you don't want them to go moldy next to your other seeds.
