Gold Finger Bunch matures
I got home form a trip to my parent's house on Sunday and I found my massive Gold Finger bunch had started to ripen. It had survived brushes with two hurricanes and the racoons only got a couple fruit. I cut it down and lugged it to the house. It must of weighed 75lbs. I have given many fruit away to friends and employees. A hand ripens every two days. I still have half the bunch left.
Next to ripen at my place are Raji Puri, Mysore, Pisang Raja, what I think is Brazillian and Ice Cream which is just blooming. At my parents' place they have Williams, Golden Aromatic and Gold Finger in friut. We have been luckly over the summer with tropical systems because many years we do not get Fall fruit.

Re: Gold Finger Bunch matures
That is awesome! Maybe you would like to consider selling a finger or two?

Re: Gold Finger Bunch matures
I thought about selling a few but I am afraid they will be mush before they arrive. They have all been consumed.
