Good Luck
I just wanted to wish all my acquaintances in the path of Fay in Florida good luck with the bananas. Hopefully there will be limited snaped trunks. Of course all of us banana growers up here in Zone 7b would be more than happy to take care of your AEAE's during this tramatic time. Just kidding hope all goes well for you guys.

Re: Good Luck
Thanks for the kind wishes. I'm on the east coast and am not expecting too much damage! Other growers farther south might get some damage though. I've got a large D. Namwah bunch ( 15 hands )ripening right now, and I won't be home for another 2wks so I probably won't get to eat any of those. That's almost like losing them to a storm! I hope everyone else down here is spared Fay's wrath.
