Help, I forgot which plant is Mona Lisa
Hi
I live in Texas and our record heat last summer pretty much meant that the best I could do was to try and keep my plants alive. I had planted a Mona Lisa which basically wasn't bigger than a pup from my Icecream plants at the end of summer. Hence I dug it up and planted it in a pot. Here is the problem, I also dug up quite a few Icecream pups and I forgot to mark the pot with my Mona Lisa. How do I tell which one of my IceCream pups is actually my Mona Lisa plant? Based on size etc I have narrowed it down to 3 plants that is probably Mona Lisa rather than an IceCream but all 3 are labelled IceCream. Any help is appreciated since I need to handle my Mona Lisa differently and plant it based on its size rather than the IceCream plants. Thanks! |

Re: Help, I forgot which plant is Mona Lisa
The Mona Lisa should have open petioles and the stem should have some red to it. The Ice Cream (real Blue Java or fake version that is a Pisang Awak variety) should have closed petioles and little if any red.
