Just got in 2 new Zebrinas...
I had been looking for a Zebrina for a while without much luck. I had googled 'musa zebrina' and was searching smaller retailers trying to find a deal on one. I came across the site of a water garden store in TN and saw that they had zebrinas as well as basjoos for $9.95 each. I decided to go ahead and order 2 zebrinas because of a $20 minimum on plant orders. I know that $9.95x2 doesn't equal 20, but they were very nice about it being close enough. I didn't really expect much from the plants--maybe 6-8" of p-stem.
I got these plants in on Wednesday, and WOW! They are quite large with huge corms. Thay are both right at 18" of p-stem. I am very impressed with this order and if I needed a basjoo or 2 I would be ordering right now. Their website is http://www.watergarden.org. Just look under plants. If anybody is looking for either a zebrina or basjoo, try these guys out. I think you'll be very pleased! The leaves are a little tattered from the trip, but they are very healthy plants. I have no affiliation with this company, I'm just a satisfied customer looking to spread good news on a good deal! |
