Kauai - Any good growers worth visiting?
I'm taking a trip to Kauai next month. Does anyone have any suggestions on any growers to visit while I am there for any interesting tropical plants? Especially growers that prepare for mainland shipping.
Thanks! |

Speaking of Kauai. Is it legal to bring tropical (like bananas) back to the contiguous u.s.?

Re: Kauai - Any good growers worth visiting?
From my experience, plants with any soil have to be approved by Ag. Dept to bring them back. I was on Oahu a few months ago and they let me bring back Plumeria cuttings and a Ti cutting with no soil.

Re: Kauai - Any good growers worth visiting?
I don't know about any growers on Kauai. I only use the ones on the Big Island or Maui.
