Cool Leaves Spinning on P-Stem

This is a funny and strange question, but I just noticed over the last few weeks on my Pisang Ceylons that the old leaves have moved their position since the new leaves have emerged or began emerging. Some as much as a 90 degree twist! I know I'm not going crazy, but does this happen when new leaves emerge? Or do only some species do this? Pictures wont do any good as I was unable to take before photos. I'll take some pictures of it later to post!

Here is a picture of the of the Pisang Ceylon that has the "spinning" leaf! It's turne over 90 degrees. When I originally planted it, the old leaf was facing the porch!

Did it turn in the direction of the sun?

Yes, the one pictured above did, but that wouldn't be a good explination for the other FOUR plants (all pisang ceylon) that have been doing the same thing, but those weren't as drastic as the one pictured above and the others are in full sun almost all day long where this one gets shade between 1/4 to 1/2 of the day.
