Default Leaves starting to brown and fall off please help
Hi. Bought a banana plant (unsure which kind) three weeks ago. When I got it it was very green and healthy. Has since started to brown on the smaller lower leaves first and now moving upwards to the larger leaves at the top. I had it in a corner slightly away from the window so I am worried it may not have been getting enough water but I am unsure. I have moved it closer to the window now. Will upload pictures to gallery. Please help!

Varieties I supposedly bought: Manzano, Cavendish, Blue Java, Sweetheart, and Gros Michel.
What it seems I actually have: Brazilian, Cavendish, Namwah, Dwarf Red, Gros Michel, Pisang Ceylon, Veinte Cohol and SH 3640, and American Goldfinger. FHIA 1, Paggi and FHIA 17... Always room for one more.

Didn't find the pix. Sounds like it is indoors, in which case it needs sunlight. Browning of leaves is quite frequently a sing of too little water, bu7t need to see specific pix.

That is Giant Bird of Paradise.

Probably needs a larger pot. May be to restricted to take up enough water. Not sure how well they do as house plants. Probably needs some sun.
