Default Musa Bordelon flowering - what's next?

I tried searching for info about what i should expect next from my bordelon:

It's poppin out a set of little banana's every day now for 5 days and it looks like there's a *bunch* more. I read that it may not be edible but wanted to make sure i even get the chance to find out.

So do i need to do anything to pollinate these guys? The flowers are falling off the first couple bunches and if they're anything like my zucchini, i know i've missed my chance if they require pollination.

A few bordelon's are starting to flower now and wanted to get a hard start on those if i need to do something different. Thanks for any info!

Bordelons are ornamental. That's all you will get - small purple fruit.

You can try pollinating them, skip it on this one though. Those first ones are the female flowers, after those it will make a bunch of male flowers which are small and last only about a day for each set. Take pollen from the male flowers on this one and use it to pollinate the female flowers of your next ones. Also, you can try pollinating the last hand or 2 (what you call "bunches" are actually called hands) with the first hands of male flowers, there is a small over lap period. Since 'Bordelon' is a hybrid already, the plants that come from the seeds may not be anything like the parents, but they should be interesting, actually if you can grow some seed Id be interesting in getting some.
