All hello! Fruit starts to ripen on the sly. But it is impossible to photograph, as they are eaten with visitors. I will try to photograph yellow fruit all the same.

Yug, 150 cm is 5' to the top of the p-stem. That's a pretty normal fruiting height for dwarf Cavendish; and it would be very tall for an SDC. Maybe the DC's get a taller in Hawaii, I don't know.

Yeah my DC's have always bloomed at 5-6 feet of p-stem.

Well, my neighbor has two 'nanners that I first thought were SDC, then Gabe said they were too big. P-stem at that time was 4 ft. Now they are at 6 ft. still with no blooms. I found the tags from them where my neighbor had tossed them at planting time, and both said Double Mahoi, which I read was a DC mutation. So, they are mutated dc's at 6 ft p-stem. So unless this is unusual, do you see why I was thinking they were kinda short?

I never had a DC myself, just a Double Mahoi, but mine is not as tall as my neighbor's is.

Yug, I am assured that it Musa Dwarf Cavendish. SDC blossoms to one meter of height. It too grows at us, but will blossom probably the next year. I do a photo of ripening fruits.

Good day/evening Raules,

I have grown Dwarf Cavendish for many years and have had many bunches of fruit from them. Never have I produced a bunch where the fingers were so large, and so "clean" meaning free from spots fungi or other blemishes. Your plant and fruit really looks good!!! Well done!!
