![]() Just ate my first Morado banana today. Taste very good with no astringent or apple overtones like DN or DB. Big diameter fingers. This is the hand that I got mostly red, with some green, no yellow on the skins yet. Went by feel to test for ripeness. Some yellow showing at the flower end. Called Nick to come over and try some. And these are distal hand fruit - little guys. The nearstal hand had way bigger fruit.
Went great with breakfast cereal. Definitely not a plantain or cooking banana. Makes supermarket naners taste like ka-ka. The other fruit are 4 Williams and an unripe Glenn mango I knocked down trying to pull weeds. Last edited by bananimal : 05-20-2013 at 09:43 AM. |
