![]() Those Mysore types with the mauve underside are pretty cool. Great job capturing the unfolding of the new leaf over the course of a day. Would be cool to catch it using time-lapse photography.
Your patch has really exploded over the past year BBJ! Good job! |

Yes! I love the mauve color too! I only got out there to take pics twice that day, so should have taken more throughout the day. Again, I am trying everything in my power to turn it into a jungle! Thanks! ![]() |

![]() Mine was 3-4" when I got it and right now is currently at 1ft pseudostem
![]() So not bad at all but still a long way to go Yeah makes sense your Manzano stopped to grow its roots out. My Manzano pup has also been growing a bit slow but starting to pick up pace, I don't think it really likes a lot of heat. Too much 90+ with 100+ ambient heat! Thankfully it should start cooling down a bit and should pickup growth.

![]() I just looked it up and found a lot of info here The Hill Bananas of southern India : In pictures | The banana knowledge platform of the ProMusa network I wonder why they say that the mat only has a lifespan of 6 years before they replace it with a new one?
