My Musa ''Sar"!
Hello!
Last Saturday,i ground planted one of the cultivars i grew from the first batch of TC plantlets,my Musa ''Sar''! Here it is in the ground at my Pyrgos Garden! I hope it likes it there and grows well to be huge!

It looks happy so far. How large will it get? We are going to grow mostly dwarf plants as they will are easier to protect or move if the weather drops too low. Good luck.

I only grow Tall growing cultivars and this one especially is gonna be a monster at about 7meters of pseudostem height!

The pictures are from Pyrgos,Greece. Where are you located? Its funny we have the same weeds! Seems they just are successful everywhere :lol: I thought i would update on my Musa ''Sar''. Its still alive and growing well in Pyrgos! Here are two photos from October 29th! I hope it passes the winter ok and grows to be huge next year!

Good luck. We here in Florida are starting to see the temps drop also. Nothing to worry about for us right now but soon it will chill. Mostly only a day or so of frost.

No frost for me either and normally i dont get frost till mid January to early February. Total 1-2 nights of frost per year for me in Pyrgos fortunately! Now min night temperatures are higher than 5C every night so far and day highs are close to 20C!
