![]() ![]() Will this be too bright for this plant or should I keep it in the house in a less bright area? Maybe I could keep it off to the side in the porch and maybe use an umbrella or something else to keep it a bit shaded. Any ideas/ thoughts would be appreciated. I really want to baby this thing........Thanks Bob ![]() ![]() |

![]() Congratulations! Mr. Bob,
Yes, your porch enclosure, supplemental lighting, and heating system will certainly work. Try to keep the enclosure at least 70°F for the first several weeks in order to let its roots get established. You can lower to 60° - 65°F after that. The Ae'-Ae that I got for my anniversary in mid-July has produced only one new leaf. At the time our average temperature was around 70°F. August- early September, was just a little better - 75°F, with occasional stints in the 80s and low 90s a couple of times. Now we have nights that dip into the high 30s. God luck on your new plant! |
