Question New Pup and some Questions

Hi,
I have a Pisang Raja that is about 2.5 to 3 foot high right now the pseudo(?) stem measure about 1.5 feet high.
As of 2 days ago I now am a proud owner of a pup.
Its weird that my plant is producing one already since it is still so small.
The pup is about an inch high right now and about 2 inches from the base. I nearly missed it when I was looking the plant over.
Now I need to figure out what to do with it?
How many pups do bananas usually produce,so I can get an idea of how many I may get? and how far apart do they grow one right after another or months apart?
Also is it ok to keep feeding/fertilizing my plant the same as I have been doing with the new pup and maybe soon to be other pups? I would assume so since it has been growing through out my feeding routine. I had also planned on putting some more manure on top before I noticed the pup.

Also the new leaf my main plant is producing is huge,it looks so funny compared to the other leaves and the size of the plant. Its 2 or 3 times the size of the others.
I know that I should cut off the leaves when they are brown but I am unsure if I should do it when the leaf is 100% brown or 50% or...? and also where at to cut the leaf off,at the bottom of the stem where it comes out of the trunk(stem and all) or right at the base of the leaf where it joins the stem?
The main trunk(?) of the plant is starting to curve over as well.Is there something I should do to try and straighten it or should I just let it be?

Sorry about all the questions(I have a million more)...your help is most appreciated.
Thank you

Each variety is different. Many pup very early, whereas my Rhino Horn and Popoulu showed pups fairly early, but they did not grow until the parent plant had flowered. On Rhinohorn, pups 10" tall already had pups, which had pups (grand-pups).

Sweetheart only had a couple of pups, and Rhino Horn had about 50, and the rest are somewhere in between.

Keep fertilizing, and add the manure.

You can cut off ANY portion of a leaf which is brown or yellow and keep any portion which is green.

First off - is this in a pot or the ground?
If it has just been moved, the roots may not have been able to anchor it, and that's why its leaning.

At some point you can separate off that pup, when it is big enough.

Hi pitangadiego,
50 pups,I hope mine gets that many.
How far apart do they pup,a week,a month apart? or is that something that varies as well.
I'll add the fertilizer and manure this afternoon.
I didn't think you could cut off half a leaf and it wouldn't hurt the plant, that's good to know.
But what about if the whole leaf is brown do I cut the stalk off right at the base of the stem where it comes out of the base of the plants pseudo stem?

Thank you for all your help.

Hi saturn,
The plant is in the ground. I planted it in mid April if my memory is correct.
It has been doing good and has put out several new leaves.
Its anchored in the ground is straight until about halfway up the stalk and then it starts to curve over?

I will read up on when to separate the pup. It is already growing real fast and is about 3 inches tall right now.

Thanks for your help.

If it is brown, trim it off, if it is green, keep it, leaves, stems, whatever. The trunk is composed of leaf stems, so any part of the trunk that is green stays, any part that is not green goes. Red bananas are the same: green or red good, brown and yellow bad.
