![]() That's great Willow. I have a few Orinoco and even if they freeze down to the ground, they always come back every year. They are pretty cold hearty and lush in my area.

![]() Thanks Bo. I planted it a couple of weeks ago and I thought that it had died. I was pulling grass and accidentally pulled a piece of the pup off. Luckily its still growing. I need to be more careful.

![]() Thanks Janan. Once they get bigger I'm going to buy some composted cow manure and spread that around them. I look forward to seeing them grow bigger

![]() Once they get good and established, you'll be giving them away to all your friends, they are very beautiful.

![]() I would love to have a giant clump of bananas. I'm going to get some composted cow manure next week. Would that be the only thing that I need? Should I buy slow release fertilizer too? Thanks. I also looked again and found a fourth pup coming up.

![]() I have bananas that are not fertalized and some that are. My personal experience has been that there's a big difference in the two. I've never burned up any bananas by adding fertlizer. I'm not an expert by no means. But I have had great success by adding fertalizer and composted cow manure. They love it.
Your milage may vary. |
