Pisang Klotek vs Mysore vs Pisang Ceylon
So, I now have all three of these varieties and thus far I am seeing some very noticeable differences
I have harvested mysore's at another farm a few times and from what I have seen mysore is taller than pisang klotek and pisang klotek's bunch comes out at a bit of an angle, whereas mysore is more less parallel to the pseudostem. My pisang ceylon is a bit of a mystery to me. It came from tissue culture and has wine spots. I didn't think pisang klotek nor mysore had wine spots, but then again I never had those two from tissue culture. Yeah, I know "TTWWOP", I'll fill in with pictures as time goes on. |

Re: Pisang Klotek vs Mysore vs Pisang Ceylon
My Mysore has a few wine spots on newly emerged water pups, and so does my PC. I have yet to see any on PK. I am also growing all three.

Re: Pisang Klotek vs Mysore vs Pisang Ceylon
Look at the size of those fingers on the PK. That's Nicks Lake O muck soil.
Cant wait to see Keiths PK bunches. Should be amazing growing on that mountain of minerals. |
