Preventing flowering of Musa Velutina
Does anyone know how to deter Musa Velutina from flowering if brought indoors. This variety does not survive outdoors in the UK, but when brought indoors almost always flowers immediately (2 to 3 weeks later), no matter how small. The flower of small plants is nowhere near as impressive as if they reach a good size before flowering. Does anyone know how to deter them from flowering if brought indoors as the slightest thing that upsets them they commit suicide by flowering.

Re: Preventing flowering of Musa Velutina
Try to keep it cool and dry. Maybe that will induce semi-dormancy until you can move it back outside in the spring.
