pup
i found a plum sized corm (PUP) with no roots, no leaves. but it is split in half, completely from about the right side of the p stem.
will it servive? |

Plant it and give it a chance. Things like that will usually grow....they tend to send up pups from the remaining corm. Bananas are pretty hard to kill...you can chop them off, cut the corm into pieces and toss it in a compost heap with no care....and VIOLA! BANANAS!

What kinda pup is it? I have pups just popping up like crazy in the last week. I think for the 3rd week of april I'm extremely pleased with growth this year. :^)

it is a basjoo, yhe mother completely rotted away so i just cut it off, but a chunk of the pup somehow fell off to, and it was the side with roots.
