Re-growth!
I just in from doing yard work, and I am just so surprised at all of the new growth on my bananas! I'm so glad you guys/gals were right about them coming back. I even have a new leaf on an Unknown that stopped pushing leaves at the start of fall.
I just hope my Majesty and Phoenix palms can make it back, too. |

Re: Re-growth!
I'll join you on the exhale ... been holding my breath for a month waiting to see what survived the CA cold snap!
I'm seeing growth on a number of plants (nanna & others!) that I was certain didn't have a snowballs' chance of surviving. Those little peeks of sprouts & regrowth are a relief! Makes me look a little saner to the neighbors, too - I KNOW a few were snickering at all the frenzied running around w/space blankets, Xmas lights, sheets, anything that I could throw up for insulation! Pfffft! They, on the other hand, are gonna be doing a LOT of digging up & replanting w/newly purchased landscaping! Whooo! . |

Re: Re-growth!
I'm sure I was the subject of neighborhood discussion with my banana blankets.
I don't know how many days of blanket washing I have left. The more I wash, the more there seem to be in the banana blanket box. |
