It has rained here for 3 weeks and i am worried a few of my banana trees will die.

I’ve had so much rain it’s insane. I’m about 2 hours South if you by Kemah.

My 3 young plants are tolerating pretty well and my backyard has been a foot underwater probably 3x now with rain almost everyday. Very hard rains too. Mine are putting out leaves and actively growing. Backyard is low lying and kinda swampy with this much rain.

I’d say just give it another week before you disturb them. Should dry up and get hot. I’m not expert though. I bet we get some hot dry weather real soon.

What makes you think that they are too wet? What is your soil? Amendments? Banana plants love the rain. In the tropics it rains every day too.....
You should always have good drainage around your plants, rain or shine.

We could use some too. Northern California has already limited the water usage to 59 Gallons per person/day.
This would not be good for all my plants.

We got more....

Rain is good for the dry woods.

In my jungle things are thriving.
Strong winds last week brought a few 80 foot ash trees to the ground.
Adds visual interest to the garden..
