I posted the content of that article earlier, either here or at garden web. The responses that I got was that the article is not very accurate in a few of the implied nutritional values and thus could lead to different conclusions when done in haste. Overall, that article is excellent and could be improved further when we reference some reliable published sources about the nutritional value of a typical banana:

MediaHound is right. Bananas are simple fleshy fruit and are grouped under the false berry type of simple fleshy fruits. For more fruit classification, see the link below:
