Nothing wrong with buying from Home Depot or Lowe's. Also try Armstrong Garden Centers.

Re: Source for dwf Brazilian in socal
I'm sure their plants are ok but I wouldn't trust their labeling of the plants. Armstrong's also caries bananas, actually more varieties than you will find at HD, but I don't trust them either when it comes to labeling. Either Jon at Encanto Farms in Sand Diego or another trusted board member would be my choices.

Home Depots labeling is questionable, they don't seem to know what they have, but so far Armstrong's and Lowe's has been right on. For me anyhow.

Re: Source for dwf Brazilian in socal
i checked a few home depots, lowes, osh, and armstrong one of the armstrongs closed down for good, none of them had dwf brazilian. I also checked some other local nurseries and nothing, one owner said that I wont find anything like that around here. It looks like Ill have to make a day trip to san diego.

Try JD Anderson Nursery in Fallbrook, CA. I believe that's near San Clemente. They have a current sale: http://www.jdandersen.com
