Default spring

Hi everyone, I live in Zone 8 (western Oregon) and was wondering if someone could tell me when a good time would be to put the plants I've had indoors all winter and get them in the ground? Second questions, does anyone know where I might buy some pups, particularily ice cream, dwarf cavendish and musa? Thanks for any help on this. I am fairly new to this game.

I have one maybe two Ice Cream pups that will be available in about a month once they get a little size on them. I may be able to help with the DC also.

I was looking at your gallery. Where were you that you were in the snow like that?

You had me totally confused with those too. First there were snowy bananas, then there were pics of you under them in winter months. I was thinking wow freak storm(cause they happen here). Nice bananas by the way!
Welcome imdocrob! I can't tell you exactly when is the best time to plant, but they like warm nights(grow alot during night), so if you're not comfortable without a thick shirt at night then they probally won't be either(and won't grow). I'm hoping three-four more weeks for us west coasters, but you never know.

Thanks for the info Tropic. I hope to be able to get these growing again soon. I unfortunately think I overwatered a couple of my pups recently and they are dying or dead. I hope Mitchel can help me out with a couple here in the next month. I have dedicated the whole south side of my yard for banana trees and palms. I can't wait to get out there. Thanks for everyones help.
