![]() After having all its leaves fried this past winter, my ice cream started to throw new leaves. The first couple were normal leaves and then these strange narrow leaves started to grow. The three pups on this mat are growing normal leaves though.
I will admit I haven't started to fertilize this mat again...stopped doing that back in October before the cold started.

![]() It could be getting ready to flower, but if it is those leaves are certainly not normal. It looks like what happened is that those are the leaves that were in the process of growing inside the pseudostem during the winter, and they were damaged, perhaps due to cold, they did not develop anymore but continued to be pushed out of the pseudostem once growth resumed. Give it some fertilizer and some time and it should start to look more normal. If it has begun to flower, the bunch will likely be stunted like the leaves.

![]() Yes normal, A few of mine did that this year. After cold damage I cut them back and the next few leafs were small like that. They are now getting bigger and all seems just find. I think its just shock because all the other leafs have died off.
