microfarmer,
its the commercial variety sold in supermarkets. This plantain grows to a height of about 12 and has produced heads of long fruit with seven hands so far. I heard The fruit should be harvested before it ripens on the plant or turning yellow,Ripening to yellow will make the fruit sweeter. |
