Too Much WATER??????
hi all, been having problems with some of my nanas and other plants (not nanas), the leafs just get unfurled and then start getting brown at the edeges and moves in till it kills the entire plant, i took some leafs and plants to a plant clinic and they told me they were getting to much water, altho the roots are healthy and white till the plant rots to the ground, i thought black sigatoka, but its not just nanas doing this, altho it looks just like the sigatoka pics ive seen, any ideas???? thanks for the help guys and gals....

Re: Too Much WATER??????
Salt, chlorine in your water? I've heard reclaimed water can have salts, Rain water can have too much acid, and soft tap water can have too much chlorine and or salt (any chlorine should be avoided I am told), also hard water can produce too much lime/calcium and iron, or so I have read. I mix it up between rain, tap water only if it hasn't rained in a while and the water sits outside for 48 hours.
I am not an expert, and my growing experience has not been all that good either. Good luck with your friend. |
