Does anyone know where the results of the banana taste test can be located. TREC University of Florida/(tropical research and education center?)

You have to wonder about any test that finds a Pisang Mas the best testing.

I think the overall number of taste testers was small. Taste is a fickle thing to measure anyways. I used to sell 3-4 Boxes of Hua Moa at the Farmer's market, primarily for dessert consumption. In my opinion, it is not a good banana for fresh consumption, but people went crazy for it.

I was a little disappointed they didn't use some of the variety's that are commonly mentioned on this board and readily available.

Maybe you should cross reference the names. Varieties can have several call names. This is actually a huge selection of varieties that are commonly mentioned here.
