Variegated Dwarf Orinoco
This one is looking better also. It has had a hard time getting going, for whatever reason. It seems to be finally growing a little better, and the variegation is improving also. Interestingly, the variegation is light green/green, with an occassional hint of yellow...but no white. As the leaf ages, white shows up! It will be interesting to follow this one as it matures. It looks like a promising banana!

Re: Variegated Dwarf Orinoco
Wow, this green with lime green variegation is my favorite. This thing will definitely have no problem handling full sun.

Re: Variegated Dwarf Orinoco
It's not available anywhere, as it is a one-of-a-kind banana. Not sure if the bananas would be variegated too, but that would be pretty cool!
These variegated bananas will hopefully start making their way around, albeit rather slowly. I have expressed an interest in future pups, but I have no clue as to what price he will ask. |
