Which varieties next?
Currently, I have:
-2 Ice Cream mats -4 "dwarf" Nam wah (approx. 11' tall) mats -2 raja puri mats -1 mystery (orinoco?) mat I would like to add a couple different cultivars that have similar cold tolerance. Any suggestions? I'll be driving down to south Florida in a few months and can pick some up while I'm there. |

Mysore or one of the variants in that group.

Re: Which varieties next?
I've been reading good things about mysore, Manzano, dwarf Brazilian, 3640 and goldfingers. But I wasn't sure if one was much better than the others or if something else entirely should be next.

Re: Which varieties next?
Any of those are good, except Manzano for my tastes. Seems like most Goldfingers aren't the real thing, but the Agristarts one is so-so at best. Brazilian I love in Hawaii, but the ones I've had in Brazil and Australia weren't much better than a grocery store cavendish, so no idea what a mainland US one would taste like.

Re: Which varieties next?
Looks like Excalibur has Pisang Cylon and "Mysore", but can't find anything online for Pisang Klotek. Any ideas where I might find it? I didn't see it on GoingBananas website either.

Re: Which varieties next?
I don't have any Pisang Klotek pups right now but lots of Pisang Ceylon I could ship you.
Have not heard of Excalibur nurseries if they are reputable or not. |
